We offer open play sessions with thoughtfully curated toys that encourage creativity, movement, and connection.

What does Laro Tayo mean?

“Laro” means” “play” and “Tayo” means “us” which means “Let’s Play” in Tagalog (Filipino).

What makes Laro Tayo different from other indoor play spaces?

Laro Tayo focuses on calm, open-ended play, and meaningful community experiences.

Our space is designed for imaginative play, playdates, parent connection, pop-ups, and family-friendly events.

What type of play equipment do you have for children 0-5?

Our space include pretend play areas, climbing structures, a play tower with a slide, sensory activities, soft play equipment, building toys, books, imaginative play stations, and rotating toys that encourage exploration, movement, and social interaction.

Is Laro Tayo good for hot summer days?

Laro Tayo is equipped with air conditioning making it a popular indoor activity to cool off near Seattle, Kent Station, Southcenter Tukwila, Auburn, Covington, Maple Valley, Renton, Burien, Des Moines, and Federal Way.

Is Laro Tayo a franchise?

Laro Tayo is owned by a local Filipino family that also grew up and live in Kent, WA where it is currently located and nowhere else in United States.

How do your play sessions work?

Families can reserve a specific time to come in or walk-in anytime during open play hours.

How long are play sessions?

Each play session guarantees two hours of play unless we are at capacity then we ask that you time your play to allow waiting families to join play also.

Do I need to reserve in advance?

Advance booking is strongly recommended on weekends or holiday hours when we tend to get busy so we can keep the experience comfortable for everyone.

Are walk-ins allowed?

Yes, walk-ins are welcome anytime during our open play hours. Families do not need to arrive during the specific time slots listed online however, if the play space reaches capacity, walk-in guests may need to wait until another group leaves before paying for a play session.

Just a reminder that we don’t take Cash, Apple Pay, Tap, or American Express.

Are adults required to stay?

Yes, Laro Tayo is a caregiver-supervised play space. At least one adult must remain onsite for the duration of the play session and keep children within sight at all times.

What ages can play in your space?

Our play equipment are best suited for children 0-5, with age-appropriate toys and activities for infants, babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Older siblings are welcome to join but will need to follow safety rules and allow a safe space the younger playing kids to play.

Is there seating for grownups?

There are couches surrounding our babies and infant area, cafe tables in the main play space, and more dining tables and chairs inside our party room.

High chairs are also available for your wobbly eaters!

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, Laro Tayo is coworking-friendly for parents who need to work remotely or meet with other work-from-home caregivers during play sessions.

Can parents work while kids play?

Yes as long as parents can keep their children within view and the littles can independently play alongside their peers while following play space rules.

Is parking available?

Yes, we have a conveniently dedicated free parking with electric vehicle charging ports in the same parking lot.

Can I bring snacks or drinks?

Non-allergen outside food and drinks are fine as long as they stay on dining tables to avoid any food on our play equipment and area rugs.

We also provide a complimentary tea station and a microwave is also available for reheating those homemade meals!

Is it group-play date friendly?

We love group playdates which should mean more supervision for every kiddo so please be aware of the space around you and the families next to you when you’re all playing together.

Just a reminder we do not allow birthday celebrations during regular play sessions.

Do you offer classes?

Yes. We try to keep a regular monthly schedule of classes but depending on our facilitators availability, we also rotate our included classes and workshops.

Is Laro Tayo available for rent?

Yes, our flex space can be rented separately whether during open play hours or after hours. The whole facility is also available for reservations offering flexibility for your guests especially those with families.

Do you host birthday parties?

Yes and all of our birthday parties reservations get the entire space where party can stay in our flex space with cake and treats while the play can stay in a separate area for the littles to explore while the grownups connect!

Can businesses host pop-ups?

We definitely welcome collaborations with locals mall businesses, makers, and family-centered brands.

Our lobby is perfect for those popups that welcome grab and go customers in addition to our staying families.

Can we collaborate with you?

We love partnering with educators, creators, and community organizations aligned with our mission.

Our sponsorships are very limited but fill out our application form to be considered.

How often is the space cleaned?

There are “yuck buckets” placed nearby for any mouthed or dirty toys. We regularly sanitize toys, surfaces, and play areas throughout the day.

What cleaning products do you use?

Our main sanitizing solution is made by Force of Nature. They are a non-toxic cleaning product safe for littles and pregnancies. You can explore their website for any concerns about allergens and reactions.

Are socks required to play?

Yes. Socks are recommended for both children and adults inside the play space.

We have loaner indoor slippers for the grownups too.

What if my child isn’t sick but has had a runny nose?

We kindly ask families to stay home if anyone is experiencing illness symptoms to help keep our community healthy.

Green snot? Return when it’s not.

Is the space also for older kids?

Our environment is intentionally designed with toddlers and young children in mind. Older kids may stay but they play differently than younger kids that can be too rough or unsafe.

Is the space stroller accessible?

We are ADA-accessible but non-medical strollers have to be parked in the lobby next to the windows.
