OUTSIDE VENDORS & CATERING ARE WELCOME

All hired vendors and caterers must have their appropriate licenses, current permits, and documentation required to operate in King County.

Professional decorators may arrive up to 30 minutes before your event for setup. All professional decorations and vendor materials must be removed within 15 minutes after your party ends. Events that extend beyond the scheduled cleanup window may incur a 25% overtime fee.

For the safety and cleanliness of our play space, any catering that requires on-site food preparation must remain in the lobby area, as shoes are required during food preparation and service.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Is the play space reserved exclusively for my party?
    Yes! Private party reservations include exclusive access for your family and guests so you can celebrate comfortably together.

    What's included with every party reservation?
    Every reservation includes tables and chairs, seating for adults and little ones, setup and cleanup time within your reservation window, access to our restroom and changing station, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a calm, toddler-friendly play environment designed for children ages 0–5. Additional upgrades, such as extra time and bubble machine entertainment, may be available depending on your reservation.

    Why is there a guest limit?
    To keep the space safe and enjoyable for everyone, we limit the number of guests allowed at each event while still leaving room for grandparents and special visitors.

    Can grandparents and family members come even if they aren't playing?
    Of course! We love seeing grandparents, aunties, uncles, and family friends join the celebration. Just remember that everyone 8 months old and up entering the space counts toward your guest total.

    What if some guests are only stopping by for a short visit?
    Because all guests who enter the play area use the seating, restrooms, and common spaces, anyone who comes past the baby gates counts toward your guest total, even if they're only stopping by for part of the party.

    Can I reserve the space for the entire day?
    Absolutely! Families love booking back-to-back time slots to enjoy an unhurried use of our facility. This allows for stress-free decor setup and a completely relaxed play pace.

    Because our playground footprint and custom child-seating remain the same, guest capacities do not double with extended hours, the upgrade is purely for your time, comfort, and peace of mind!

    Full-day Saturday rentals are available within our operating hours of 9:30 AM–6:30 PM. You can book all three available time slots giving you a total of 7.5 hours and choose the schedule that works best for your celebration. This premium option gives your family extra time for elaborate decorating, a relaxed catered lunch, or an extended midday nap window for the little ones. An example reservation:

    • 10:00 AM–5:30 PM (7.5 hours)

    • 1:30 PM–6:30 PM (5 hours)

    Can I add extra time to my reservation?
    If you've booked a Friday, a Sunday, or the first or last time slot of Saturday, additional time may be available. Reach out before your party date, and we'll let you know your options.

  • Do you provide food and drinks?
    You're welcome to bring your own food and beverages, order pizza from next door, or arrange catering.

    Can we use crockpots or electric food warmers?
    Yes! Crockpots and electric warmers are welcome. We simply ask that appliances are on stable surface, not resting directly against the walls, and that cords do not create tripping hazards.

    Do you provide decorations?
    Decorations are not included so that we can keep our party packages affordable and flexible. You're welcome to personalize the space as much or as little as you'd like.

    Can I bring balloons?
    Absolutely! Balloons are welcome. For the safety of our little guests and play equipment, we ask that confetti balloons and glitter-filled decorations stay at home.

    Can I bring alcohol?
    To maintain a family-friendly environment, alcohol is not permitted.

  • Do you provide entertainment?
    We currently offer an optional bubble machine add-on for the last 30 minutes of your party. We also partner with local vendors who provide activities and entertainment for young children.

    Can we play music?
    Of course! You're welcome to connect to our speaker system and play your own playlist.

    Can we rearrange the tables and chairs?
    Tables and chairs inside the Flex Space can be rearranged to fit your party needs. For safety reasons, furniture in the main play area must remain in place.

    Can we bring our own activities and toys?
    Yes! Crafts, coloring activities, and toddler-friendly games are welcome. We simply ask that activities do not involve running games, throwing objects, or pretend weapons.

  • Do guests need to sign a waiver?
    Yes. All guests with playing children must have a signed waiver on file before participating.

    Are socks required?
    Yes! Socks are required for both children and adults entering the play space.

    Do adults need to stay with their children?
    Yes. Laro Tayo is a parent-supervised play space, and children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.

    What should I tell my guests before they arrive?
    Please remind guests to wear socks, complete their waiver if they have playing kids, arrive on time, supervise their children throughout the party, keep food and drinks at the tables, and know when the party ends to prevent an overstay fee.

  • When can we arrive to decorate?
    Your reservation time includes both setup and cleanup. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early at the start of your reservation to allow enough time to unload and decorate before guests arrive.

    Do I need to clean up after the party?
    We handle the general cleaning and sanitizing after your event. We simply ask that you gather your decorations, leftover food, and personal belongings before leaving.

    What happens if our party runs late?
    To ensure the next family can celebrate on time, all guests and party hosts must exit within 10 minutes of the end of the reservation. Events that extend beyond the grace period may incur an additional fee.

    Is there parking available?
    Yes! Free parking and Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations are available on-site for all party guests.
