Laro Tayo Opens Its Doors: A New Indoor Playground and Community Space for Families with Little Ones
Kent, WA October 8th, 2025 Laro Tayo is officially open and welcoming families to play, connect, and grow together. They are an indoor community venue with a play space for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers,
Created by a local parent, Laro Tayo was born from the vision of a co-working creative studio space for creative moms, where both children and moms could feel at home while still getting some work done until that vision evolved into a place that blends playtime for little ones with a meaningful community for adults.
“We wanted to create a place where parents, caregivers, and grandparents could relax, work, or meet others while their children play in a safe, engaging environment,” says Joysha Fajardo, founder of Laro Tayo. “It’s more than a playground — it’s a place for connection and support.”
The thoughtfully designed play area features open-ended toys, soft play equipment, and creative play zones tailored for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Laro Tayo also offers a rotating lineup of family-friendly classes and workshops including toddler yoga, mama meetups, and purposeful creative sessions designed to nurture wellness and community.
In addition to daily play sessions, the space is available for birthday parties, photo sessions, and private events, as well as pop-ups for local small businesses.
Located at 24437 Russell Road Suite 112 Kent WA 98032, Laro Tayo is open Monday through Friday with two play sessions from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and then at 12:30PM to 2:30 PM, with weekend hours by reservation only and special events announced via social media and their website.
Families are invited to celebrate the opening by joining as Founding Families, a limited-time membership offering three months of unlimited play for just $50 through November 1, 2025.
