One year ago, we opened the doors to Laro Tayo with a simple idea: create a place where families can play, gather, and create. This October, we’re celebrating our first year that has been shaped by the people who have chosen to spend their time here. We’re filling the month with extra opportunities to celebrate our anniversary and Filipino-American History Month.
One of the things we love most about Laro Tayo is that every visit can look a little different. Maybe you come for a quiet morning with the place all to yourself or a room full of little friends. We just hope that somewhere in this month of celebrations, there’s something that gives your family a reason to come visit.
And if Laro Tayo has been part of your family’s year whether you’ve visited once, celebrated a birthday here, attended a class, met a friend, or become one of the families we get excited to see walk through the door again, thank you!
WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OCTOBER
We’re opening our doors for play every Sunday in October. Every Sunday will include pop-ups and some workshops so be sure to check our calendar before your visit:
October 8 — Soft Opening Anniversary
We’re kicking off our first anniversary with a special Bluey Character Playdate. Come play, take photos, and celebrate. Reservations are required and walk-in capacity is not guaranteed.
October 22 — Ribbon-Cutting Anniversary
We’re marking our official first-year celebration with a special Moana Character Playdate featuring play, games, crafts, music, and more. Reservations are required and walk-in capacity is not guaranteed.
REGULAR WEEKLY SCHEDULE:
Mondays Story Time & Crafts, No-Cook Workshops, and wellness experiences.
Wednesdays Wiggles & Bubbles with Ms. Jennifer.
Fridays Filipino-Hawaiian Lunch while you play.
For the grownups, too We also have opportunities for caregivers and our wider community to connect through Parent Social Hour, Bloom & Belong, and Live More Aligned. Come meet other parents, make something, share ideas, or simply take a little time for yourself while your little one plays.

A LITTLE UPDATE INTO YEAR TWO
A first birthday is also a good time to reflect on what it takes to keep a small business like Laro Tayo going. We want to continue creating a welcoming place for families in our community while also making sure Laro Tayo can remain sustainable for the long run. As we head into our second year, we’re making a few changes to our play options and pricing.
OUR 5-PLAY PACKAGE IS RETIRING If you’re a current 5-Play Package holder, you can still use your remaining passes. Once they’re gone, you can join our FREE Play Rewards Program and keep earning free play simply by playing at Laro Tayo. And if you’ve been thinking about becoming a Laro Tayo Member, this is the month to do it. Subscribe by October 31st to lock in our current membership rates:
